Hi, I'm Julie Preston

I'm a Trauma-Informed Coach : Senior Certified Yoga Teacher : Kirtan Leader : Integrative Nutrition Holistic Health & Wellness Coach : and Ayurvedic Nutrition & Yoga Therapist, living in Belfast, Northern Ireland. 

I've been practicing various yoga styles and paths, meditation, breathwork and a wide variety of wellness and trauma healing modalities for more than 25 years, and have over 15,000 hours teaching and coaching experience since 2007 sharing what I love with everyone from 3-100 years old!

A wee bit about me....

I got into all these practices because of my own lived experiences of trauma, depression, anxiety, burnout, breakdown, chronic migraines, substance abuse and disordered eating.  These have been my greatest catalysts for inspired change, growth, healing, learning and transformation. I  humbly continue with this journey, and my practices, each day, with compassion and acceptance (and a good dose of humour!) I walk my talk, am open about my imperfections and struggles, and make no fake promises of quick fixes.  We keep things real here, this is a safe, nurturing place to be authentically YOU. 

I'm passionate in empowering midlife women to remember their True Nature, to elevate their joy & vitality, ease stress, anxiety & overwhelm, and feel more balanced, calm and connected in daily life.  I enjoy working 1:1 because I feel a bespoke integrative approach is most effective as we're all so unique.  But I also believe in the healing power of community and love offering group classes, workshops and retreats.  

 

One of my greatest joys is sharing the transformative power of Kirtan, feeling the loving energy and connection in the room each time, it's pure Soul Medicine Magic!  Kirtan is how I met my wonderful husband Victor Tyrrell back in 2011, and we've been sharing it together ever since.  

I live in Belfast with my husband Vic. I LOVE time in nature, getting out for walks alone and with friends.  I'm BIG into dancing, especially rave music, and going to ecstatic dances and 5 rhythms.  I'm fond of a bit of strength training, and find nothing more therapeutic than whacking a punch bag!  Love a good netflix binge from time to time, as well as cinema dates with myself and with hubby.  I'm a total foodie and spend lots of time scouring plant based recipes for inspiration, and I love cooking for others as one of my main love languages.
